

Sportian offers a venue management system designed for institutions and entities that need to efficiently manage access to their venues and facilities. Originally focused on stadiums, with future expansion to include parking lots, retail and other venues, Sportian allows organizations to easily configure and control seating, manage events and products such as tickets, and then seamlessly integrate them with an external ticketing manager for sale.

Problem
Currently, La iga de España’s products are based on a platform known as AVET, a desktop application installed in each club. However, this platform is technologically outdated and has multiple issues, such as a lack of ability to adapt and scale to changing needs, as well as limited information tracking capabilities.

Goals

Establish a multi-club and multi-functional platform that allows each organization to efficiently manage their facilities and events.

Our goal is to improve the fan experience from the moment they purchase a ticket to the moment they enter the event, offering comprehensive support throughout the entire process.

Progressively replace the current platform, AVET, with a web-based platform that provides clubs with the ability to manage their events, offer them for sale, complete transactions and verify attendee access.

Work methodology (HLD) High Level Design
Currently, the work methodology has several Development Teams (PODs), each focused on improving a specific functionality or flow within the platform. Each POD receives an epic detailing specific functionalities, which are analyzed in an initial discovery stage called High Level Design, involving architects, user experience (UX) designers and product team. This process culminates in the creation of initial wireframes that provide a starting point.

Work methodology (LLD) Low Level Design
Once this phase is completed and prioritized, each POD works on detailed design (Low Level Design), addressing all possible user cases and refining components with the design system. Next, high fidelity prototypes are delivered (Hand Off to development), followed by user testing (Agents of each soccer club). This approach allows us to advance the design process iteratively and ensure the quality and usability of the platform under development.
